On the line! - Guy Birthday

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a fisherman - hooked and on the line!  Yes, this is a guy card!  And, YES, there is pink on the card... Have you ever heard the saying, "Pink in the morning, sailors warning, pink at night sailors delight"?  That is why the pink! πŸ˜‰

Now that we have that settled, let's get into what I used to make it.  The fish is from the cartridge Camp Out and the water from Going Places.  I used them with my Explore Machine and Design Space.
I just used regular black thread for the line and I used Best Creations Pop-ups under the fish. - (these seem to be my favorite!)

Well, I hope you enjoyed it!  Have a beautiful day!

35th Anniversary Card! - Coral

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.
Hi!  Today I have a fun card... at least I think so!  I found out, by way of FB, that it was some friends of mine 35th Wedding Anniversary!  That sent me to seeking out information.

I like to make cards as specific to the person or persons that I can.  I asked myself, "what is the theme of the 35th anniversary?" - I start to googleπŸ€”... Coral!  What?  Coral?  How do I pull this one off?  After more time of research, than a person should for a card, this is what I decided to do!

The actual coral is cut out on my Explore Machine, from Design Space, using the Life Is A Beach Cartridge.  The 35 was welded in Design Space, using the CTMH Artbooking Normal Font.  Oh, I added a few embellishments and Pop-ups too!

Even though I usually put a lot of research into my cards and the time can never be justified...it's totally worth it!

I hope you enjoyed it!  Have a beautiful day!

So Sorry - Sympathy

Here is another 😞 Sympathy card.  I know I have said this before, I am a little tired of making these this year.  I have known everyone, who is getting the cards and the person who is the reason for the cards.  If that makes any sense.

Setting the feelings aside, I like the softness & simplicity of this card.  I used a Poppy Field Embossing Folder, from Consumer Crafts with my Cuttlebug!  The butterfly is actually form a CTMH cartridge, called Artbooking.  I used my Explore to cut it out!

Give your friends and family a hug today!  Thanks for stopping!

Scissors - Thank You!

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.
Hi there!  Today, I have a "Thank You" card, that was made for a hairstylist!  A good friend of mine, Janine, is an awesome stylist who owns her own business.  It is called Salon 606!  I made these specific for her.  She is the one, who made me and my husband up, for the Whoville party! ( A couple of posts back!)  πŸ˜€

Here is what I did...

I popped up the top white piece and cut the scissors out with my Explore!  I used the Sentimentals Cartridge.  I stamped the Flourish and Thank you!

Thanks for stopping!  Have a terrific day!

Hawaiian Butterfly - Birthday!

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.
Today's project is a special one to me.  This was made for a friend of mine who has lost her husband and her father, all within a few months.  This particular friend, has been a blessing to me all the years I have known her.  She is a wonderful gift from God.

Her husband was from Hawaii.  So when coming up with a card for her, I wanted it to be peaceful and memorable.  Butterflies are a sign of new life - (That is exactly what she is moving into, a new life).  I researched Hawaiian butterflies and found out about this beautiful black and white monarch.  I thought it would be perfect!

In times of sadness or hurt with people, I seem to do better with a card then in person.  People could perceive me as cold or not caring, because I don't quite know what to do or say.  I am working at being better at consoling people, or knowing what to say during difficult times.  It isn't something that comes naturally to me.

I hope you enjoyed it.  Here is what I used... My Cricut Explore, Design Space and Everyday Pop Up Cards.  I also used my Tape Glider and Pop-Ups.

Have a terrific day!  God bless you!
